I'm not happy that the angry thread has almost as many posts as the happy thread.
We should be happy not angry but I spose we can be happy the angry thread post count is behind the happy count unless we get angry over something trivial then the happy count will fall behind the angry count which might make happy members angry that the angry members aren't happy then the happymembers can't make angry members happy and get the happy count back in front of the angry count but... pffft... I'm happy to leave it altho it makes me angry when I don't finish a post on a happy note... sooo... I hope all you angry dudes are happy that you made a happy dude angry
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

Ground Fault AGAIN THIS MORNING. Most likely Wallabies looking for moisture and chewing the wiring insulation of my PV (solar panels) wiring. Generated my own electriity (off-grid) and one of the Sunny Boy inverters (MPPT) is showing up a "ground fault" again this morning.
Bugger, thought it was moisture ingress from running gravity feed supplied water sprinklers to cool/wet the general area down as so hot here yesterday 41DegC (a fire prevention measure). While I was running the multi-meter over sys, the good lady noticed chew marks (lovely wallabies) thru the outer insulation of the flexible link cable. Lucky for the wallabies though that they mainly come out and play at night as these arrays can happily run at nom 380 and 420 vols o/c (series and parallel strings-6.1kW).. More mods but rather doing others though. A pic of PVs, wonder if they would fit on the GU
G’day Bidja mate, wondering if a bit of untasty grease or the like on the wires might deter them for you? Not sure what reaction grease has on wires though mate!

Why don't you have mechanical protection around the cables

The transmission lines are protected above ground except for the section that has been damaged. This section is a flexible link cable (1m length) that allow for free movement as the array frames track the sun (full east to west). Will replace cabling and run it through a length of thick walled flexible tubing and hook it up higher and hopefully out of easy reach.
