That's awesome news Phil, unfortunately my folks weren't so lucky their beautiful house in Mallacoota is gone along with about 70 so far in Coota plus everywhere else in the south east that's been smashed. Feel for everyone it's been a shocker of a season so far.

Sorry to hear that Ross, I trust they are ok though - evacuated in time? This is going to continue for some time I think. The front line guys are getting smashed and will need a break sooner rather than later.

Cheers Phil. Yeah they're OK which is the main thing, they are actually overseas in the Failkland Islands with limited internet but they are aware now the place is gone. Pretty bad situation whole way up coast is just devastating for so many.

Saddened to hear such news Rossco. Important thing is, the parents are fine.
Was just listening and reading a few recent posts and it seems like theyre that exhausted and under-resourced that, apart from saving lives, theyre just gonna let the bastard burn out on its own, which could be weeks / months.

Really sorry to hear this Rossco. Hope they're safe and well physically. If so that's something to be grateful for. Losing the house I feel for you and them big time mate.
What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??
