That is not bad. Difference was more than a $100 per corner when I was getting quotes...

Having the castor correction bushes fitted prior to delivery when it gets the lift and gvm upgrade done. Did you fit the 33's to the factory 17" alloys with a +10 offset?

Keep in mind this is only the first mob I've rung, and prices may be better elsewhere. He was also willing to offer me up to $150 each for the factory tyres, but obviously needs to see them first. So maybe the price difference between sizes is narrowing as more and more vehicles are released with 17's.
Yep as i mentioned the price on 17's has come down a lot in the last few years due to more vehicle's going bigger rims..
Hell the y62 rolls on 18 rims and 33" tyres from factory..
So im not surprised its only $50.
But that $150 return, is that rim and tyre or just tyre?
Either way if your looking at quiting the factory alloys and hes offering $150 a rim id take it.
These days blokes are buying a set around the 500-600 mark.
Hes offering 750..

The $150 was just a ballpark figure they gave me for the factory tyres only, they will have less than 50kms on them, but he needs to have a look first. I'd be happy with $100 each, reduces the new tyre bill by $500.

I'm running 33's on the original 17 rims, I've got KM2's and when I priced them in early 2014 the difference between 17 & 16 was only about $200 for five tyres. Checked a couple of dealers and this was at JAX tyres, not sure if they are in WA.
No issues with front mud flaps, I did a minimal alteration to the inside edge (I can post up a pic if the helps). Also no issues with power.
Cheers

Awesome to know, If you could post up a pic of your flap mod that would be great
No Jax tyres in WA unfortunately.

I've ended up getting a pretty sweet mates rates deal that I can't turn down!
The deal is trade in the existing Bridgestone A/T 693's, 275/65/17 for some Mickey T ATZ P3's, 285/70/17 at $200 each for a set of 5. I'm certainly not complaining about that! $1000 bucks for the changeover makes me a happy man!

I have 17" steel rims and I think mine are -13 and had castor correction done afterwards and fixed the problem.
Will be fitting 285x70x17 to the Nissan alloy rims next month so will see if its the same as the steel rims.
