We now have storm water that drains from our block to where its supposed to go. The plumber came in last week and had to dig up our bitumen driveway to access the easement to re route the stormy pipe. The plumber did so well he managed to only dig up the edge of the bitumen, so no ugly trenches like we first thought.
Thursday and Fridays downpours all went where they should, not like before and over flowing with the lightest of showers.
15 months! Seems like just yesterday you moved in! Must feel great to finally get a resolution. Now you can relax a bit.

Yeah time flies... we haven’t got the bill from the plumber yet so once we get this and pay it. It’s officially over. A days work with a mini excavator involved shouldn’t be a massive bill. Lol. Ah well. This will push our out of pocket costs into five figures I guess. I’m not to concerned though. It’s done! Going camping this weekend to relax.

This is what I need to do. Hire a big trailer and go for a drive and fill it. I half filled my 7 x 5 with Redgum before coming home from our camping on the Murray over easter. I had cut and split way too much for the four days we were there, so I had to bring it home...

I got sick of borrowing trailers so went out and bought this one last year. Paid for itself already.

    2.7k from memory.
Can fit 3.5 cubic metres of wood in there. Saves me $500 every load I get really. We use at least 20 cubic metres of wood a year so there is no other way to do it

I've stuck to my guns and stayed on my pre-operation eating plan for next Tuesday's big day.

My palate has disgustingly learnt to adapt to black coffee and shakes. lol.

Just hope the jungle juice they give me before hand, has the same effect. PML.

Coffee is best when its black. You'll get used to it and end up liking it.
