My Engine Guard paid for itself.
Last drive I noticed the head getting hotter than the coolant temp. I think a lazy thermostat is to blame. Up to 97c going uphill before I got to a safe spot to pull over and let it rest, then on the drive home it didn't get above 71c ... thermostat was definitely playing up.
But yeah, happy with my Engine guard temp sensor/alarm. I had it set to alarm at 90c as it usually doesn't go above 80c.

Haha those things need to be switched off if you own a TD42! it would be constantly going off.
