Tee'd up a job interview today. Been unhappy at my current job for a while now and bit the bullet and applied for a few jobs last night. Got a call around midday today from someone I applied with. I'm still able to continue my apprenticeship with them, and it's far more in the direction I want my career to head. First time in months I have been excited about something work related.

Thats great! Best of luck mate. Getting tired of pulling 60+ hours a week are you?
Packed up now, early off in the morn for a fish...not too many around up the mtns...
Lucky you John. One thing I want to do this year is pull out the fly rod and go for a hunt for some trout. Its been way too long since I have done it. I really must make some time...

Sure am mate, and the unreasonable/unrealistic deadlines and constantly having to justify my actions, oh and traveling over an hour each way to work was getting pretty tiresome to lol

Yeah I was wondering when you were going to tire of that drive. Yeah I remember working with you and pulling 10, 12 hour shifts just to get the job done in time. That hotel job we did in the city that was an all nighter, where we worked 18hours in a 24hour period was a killer.

Haha mate, the pullman hotel, how could one forget. This week has been one of those again. 3pm - 430am Sunday, injured from Sunday on Monday(pallet of board fell on leg), 7am-630 Tuesday 7am - 530 yesterday and 530am-700pm today.
And add travel to and from home time, that doesn't leave alot of time to see my daughter grow up...
I'm busting my arse to get Dometic finished to I can attend someone's special even on Saturday and should get there but it's going to be a big slog.

Had a couple of good days with a mate on the Eucumbene and small creek up around Kiandra (Snowies). First run with new induction (4" snork/airbox), draws full on, can hear it rush thru the cooler. Some steep solid work and drove extremely well.

How was the fishing? I’m heading to seven gates with me young fella tomorrow for a look. Water is still down I think.
