Crikies Len Beadell would faint if a factory Y60, Y61, Y62 pulled up alongside.

What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??

    Crikey @Plassy Brother
Len would be disqualified for a Legendary crossing as such
He would though, IMHO, be weary of spare elecy parts, shunt removals, so that our fangdangle weapons can operate cool brews and winch bitching preparations at full voltage

Can we ALL please AGREE that Y62 @MudRunnerTD Leads our French Crossing.
Depending on final numbers, we will still need ‘Crew/Group’ numbers etc….
    May I suggest, maybe

    #1 MudRunnerTD
    + 4

    #2 Stropp
    +4

    #3 Westy
    +4

    etc…..

As long as the dog doesn’t chase its tail we’ll ALL be eating Camel Pies

Respecting our Little LB’s teenage wishes tonight in regard not wanting to GU wagon build underway crossing the Simmo this July 🥲
Onwards & upwards for now, time to boogey and ready my old faithful ute for the desert again, relatively fresh out of Tassie Shenanigans

Circa 250L of diesel storage below deck and cheap Mogas/Petrol jerry can storage tray space might be available for the highest Y62 bidders

No doubt defeats the purpose/serenity of crossing our Beaut Simpson Desert but have just upgraded the home office Starlink ‘standard’ plan to their ‘mobile’ plan.

I won’t bother affixing the dish to the truck but if anyone coming along needs to wifi onto it in the evenings you’re more than welcome (touch base with family or urgent work needs etc.)

    Righto serious time.
Not to sound like an alcoholic.......
    But what are people taking?
I'm usually a bourbon and coke fella.
But I don't feel like this will be a sustainable option out bush with limited storage..
    Especially premix..

Mrs Niss is taking a couple casts or plod, I might throw in a port for the cold nights. I know Daz will be in for that lol....

Beer is an option but what tastes good out of a can??

Fyi I'm an alcohol enthusiast lol...

My palate has changed over the last few years. Now it's more Rum, both spiced and not, gin and scotch. Still don't mind a bourbon, beer and wine too. Pretty much anything but vodka.

Premixed are convenient, but I'll probably bring bottles.

Mrs C isn't much of a drinker these days, but will never say no to a tequila shot.
