I just think the wireless option would be handy, plus its a fairly simple and cheap upgrade. And handy for when I want to use my winch to rip tree stumps out. Lol.
I think I may have found the "plug-in" one I'm after. Just waiting for confirmation that it fits the late model 5 pin Warns like mine. These have a "D' shape socket on the hand controller, not the older round type.

for the sake of a few bucks I would go the VRS kit over the no name china one, simply based on the look / ruggedness of the controller. The Warn one would be the easiest with plug and play connector, but at over 3 times the price of the VRS... no thanks.

Good stuff let us all know how easy it was to install. The pile of "small" jobs I have to do just keeps getting longer. I have half the parts just need time these days to do it.

Wow. Yeah I'd be buying the VRS one for sure. Basically the same unit. If you really want that earn job I'd go in Amazon and price that kit out of the US.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

I'm sure it is a silly question being that I am seriously elecy challenged. Are any of these remote controlled jobbies prone to interference gents? Again silly, but I remember as a kid two brothers were gifted radio controlled toy cars that caused one hell of a ruckus :-)
