Fitted up the Patrolapart steering bash plate, looks good, and corrected the shoddy cable tie job on the hydraulic lines to front winch as they were pulled tight and squashing the lines.
Fitted and wired the reverse mirror screen and reversing camera, after consult with @Cuppa - very happy with it so far, waiting for a higher quality camera to arrive.
Stripped out my 100watt HID hi/low headlights and fitted some "normal" 90/100 H4 globes
the light is so yellow after using LED and HID for so long, But hey Im fully legal now I think.lol
For those out there thinking of fitting HID to your GU answer is simple "dont" it will discolour your
reflective lens

Limit the output to 70w Hi/Lo and you should be fine. Mine are fitted into Hella inserts and have not posed a problem, but they are not legal as stated above. Massive improvement on light output and vision in wet conditions with HID over the halogen, but....

I ran these same globes for a while and gave them away because they were dazzling on-coming traffic, even after adjustment, but never an issue with the HID's

Nah I'll stick to the halogen for around the burbs, I have a 42" double row 240watt light bar and 100 watt HID spotties
for and hwy work
Also tomorrow if Im feeling OK I'll move my driving lights about 50mm each
so there is a bit more room in the centre.
Now its cooled down a bit Ill try and do more things, like fit the new steering damper
fit the light bar to the side of the roof rack, 42" single row, and tighten the front left wheel bearing

Hush Hush, don't mention the Hilux
It wasn't there, we had a Mazda & 60 Series with us. By the way I told him to take the recovery points and that you would refund if they didn't fit, he was worried that he'd end up with them if they didn't.
Cheers
