Word of warning before purchasing these cv/axle sets, ensure that Roadrunner have completed the 'Australian Mods' before they send them to you. The circlip groove is in the wrong location, approx 1mm out of position, so needs to be recut, the axle lengths are 8mm too long, and they need to be cut down as well. The thrust block supplied will do your head in, however for my vehicle it isn't required as long as the axles are the same length as the ones coming out. @Rossco had a few dramas with his, mine are yet to go in, just did some intense checking after hearing about ross's issues and believe the information above is correct.
The problem appears to be the USA manufacturer has the wrong length for the axles. For reasons unknown they dont appear to be listening to the feedback, so every set supplied for the GQ needs to be shortened. The mod is executed with a thin angle grinder wheel - yet to do mine, warranty not affected.

Sorry to dig up this old thread guys.. but you all seem to be on the ball when it comes to these axles!

I have a set of rcvs to go in my GU diff. I have had my centre rebuilt with a TJM locker installed but didn’t get the thrust block installed as it only mentioned an ARB locker…

Are you guys running these axles in a gq or gu? And did you end up using the block after all?

All help is appreciated. I really hope my diff doesn’t need to come apart again!!

I am running a GQ with ARB locker. The thrust block, if one was installed originally remained in the diff center. I simply shortened the axles by 8mm as instructed and they slipped straight in. The only thing I would say is the circlip groove ex factory is a bit shallow and the radius sits the circlip high in the groove.
