In Northeast Victoriastan about $120-$150 + , trouble is buying stuff that's dry and seasoned and reasonable quality .
One in about 20 know what that means and usually charge closer to $200 for a cube , I'm just physically able to go out and get a load but takes a few days to get over it , but I enjoy getting out in the bush .

Bit cheaper down here, there's a lot of people selling wood this way. 90 odd per cubic metre but nobody measures it so you don't really know how much you're getting. And as said above, it's usually wet or green and not great to burn.
We were late this year so won't have the best wood to burn but will be more prepared next year.
I would never pay for fire wood though, I do enjoy collecting it.

From what I've read, over here you can only collect up to a tonne, once in a 60 day period from designated areas, between June and September

In Vic it's 2 cubic metres per person, per day with a maximum of 16 cubic metres per season. Only allowed to collect in designated firewood collection areas and only in spring and autumn.
