Different to mine. The slave cylinder jammed holding the clutch open. Could change gears, but no drive. RACQ chap was very puzzled but the mechanic knew straight off what the problem was.

Yep same issue with mine. I bought a heat shield for the slave cylinder but it ended up vibrating apart so I wrapped the exhaust pipe in lagging. All issues gone…

Most truckies driving crash boxes will drive all day without using the clutch, using it only when needing to come to a dead stop.

got my finger out and pulled the calliper down and cleaned it up. put new seals in it and bolted it back up.. it'll get bled later.
looks like I have been volunteered to fix a couple trailers. brake issues and a wheel bearing.

well now i am considering a turbo .... yeah i know rabbit hole. it will need a new/reco pump, injectors and a full exhaust,
thinking i should have an intercooler and i guess i need to sort an air filter.
it would be nice to get 4-500nm but i want it to stay reliable.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
