What animals are thinking and feeling
A biologist explains things about animals that we tend to not notice, or purposely avoid.
Pretty interesting stuff.

Yeah mate, I believe it is true. We already know dogs and cats can warn us beforehand when we are about have a heart attack and die.
I think dolphins have finely tuned electrical sensitivity, similar to sharks, where they can detect subtle changes in heart rate.
We need some uni students to do some research on these things for their post graduate, PhD projects.
Unfortunately, not much is happening 'cos everybody wants to get into immediately career oriented educational programs to make quick money.
We need to find ways to be less materialistic and be more happier with understanding the forgotten stuff.
I hope our kids are not as materialistic as us.

The amount of "academics" studying (via taxpayer funds) purely stupid shit should be forcefully diverted into scientific unknowns, rather than we-already-know-that-but-you-just-proved-it-for-no-advantageous-reason studies. God that shits me when they find out why sugary drinks are no good for us, or why giraffes get neck aches.
What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??

Nah giraffes rock mate! Not only can they slide their tongues up their own nostrils, they have a huge tendon down the back of their neck which is relaxed when in the upright position. They have to stretch that tendon to lower their heads down low, so they'd only get neck aches if they were eating grass.
See I'm an academic!!

MB's right. Giraffe is an evolutionary stuff up when it came to laryngeal nerve design.
Our creator was inebriated when he/she was designing the giraffe's nervous system.
Crikey laryngeal nerves, I'm gonna need to research that. Can you pay me to study what you already know? I'm an acedimic you see!
