3D printed parts
So, a friend of mine showed me this site yesterday called thingiverse.com – the universe of things.
It's a free database of user created 3D objects that you can download and get printed as physical objects.
I did a quick search and there are several parts for various patrol models that people have made.
https://www.thingiverse.com/search?q...85d55db89aae4e
I thought this might be handy for some who can't find a specific part or want to make something that's customised.
I only found out last year that you can get objects 3D printed in various materials at Officeworks.

Gotta be wary of the quality of the part. We were sucked into buying a plastic cog for a Falcon odometer. The advert picture looked like a genuine one but a crappy printed one turned up. The odometer works only when it is in the mood. Usually after an hour or so of driving.

Nothing wrong with the plastic cog, its the fact you put it into a Ford

In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.
