We would definitely need to plan this at least 1 month BEFORE the Big Red Bash as that will attraxk a huge gathering with plenty of double crossings in ans out of that. 1000s of people on Big Red. I'd love to go to the bash but the ticket pricing is a disgrace to be honest.
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!!
....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

Yes 100%. While I'd love to attend the BRB. Who can be stuffed with traffic out in the middle of the desert? Not I!

Top Work Stroppstar
In regards the 2024 BRB and us all crossing quietly prior I can only find online dates for the 2023 BRB at the very start/first week of July.
Thinking we’d be safer looking towards early June-ish 2024 as many will surely cross West <>East to attend/start the BRB in the weeks before too?

Yep so late June Sunday 16th at Coober Pedy gives you 2 days, we will likely leave here mid week so we can do Olga’s and the geographic centre of Oz on the way.

Apologies for snippet cut/paste above Stroppstar
Heads up for your good self & travellers, once in the Park (Uluru-Olgas) you will need at least a ‘campground’ paid up proof to have a brew together within, bars/takeaway etc…
EDIT: Meant within the adjoining tourist region (Not “Park”) apologies
