how hard / long will it take to remove my tcm

    Hi there

Wondering how hard it is to get to and remove my Transmission Control module, would it take a few hrs to get to and remove?

    Cheers

Not 100% sure on the GU's, but on the GQ's it is located behind the passenger side kick panel,

2 Remove just unscrew plastic on the floor, unscrew the kick panel, remove the wire plug from TCU and unbolt.... 10 mins max

Edit: After reading another post the GU TCU is also located behind the kick panel

I beleive my TCM is in the engine - transmission area itself...
