Hey mate, it's an f250 tub on a second hand homemade trailer frame that fit like a glove!

    Weekend projects

Not so much a project but another job on the house.
The waste pipe for the pool filter was busted at the concrete slab it was on. So the pipe was re routed, in a dodgy way by the previous owners to another point.
So I managed to reconnect the busted pipe into its original connection in the slab, turned the waste on the pump and water came gushing out from underneath the retaining where the slab is near. So I guess the pipe is busted under the concrete bench the pipe above the concrete being re routed.
So after smashing the conc out with a sledgy, cutting away at the retaining wall I found the leak.

You can see the hole in the bend and the 40mm pipe is not even sealed where it goes into larger pipe.

@mudski, you just are setting your expectations too high. Drop them to the level of drongo and this is ace quality. Just wrap the holes in alfoil and gladwrap, layer of silastic and bury the bastard - sorted, - I mean the water doesn't flow on the top side of the pipe does it? Plant a big arse tree over the top and the roots will eventually find the water and the problem is solved. call me anytime for further technical input.

Haha. The amount of rock, rubble and rubbish that was burried under the conc aswell, no wonder the pipe was busted. The entire retaining wall, and all the conc under the pergola and around the pool is being removed in the next month or so for new paving, so I had to get this done before they come in and do their thing.

Thanks mate. I thought i was going to need a jack hammer but after I saw there was no reo in the conc I headed to Bunnings, got myself a 8lb sledgy an went to town on it. Lucky their concreting work was shit as it came apart quite easily.

    Weekend projects

So while getting back to the above project I figured out that they’ve plumbed the pool waste into the storm water. Kinda not allowed. And to think a plumber built this house.
So more digging required to get access to the shitter pipe to the left.
    IMG_5180.jpg

I repaired the stormy pipe and a bit more digging I managed to get the waste pipe to twist towards the shitter pipe. It wasn’t stuck enough in the conc so I could move it freely.
This is where I stop. Adapting the 40mm pvc pressure pipe into the 100mm waste pipe, and where it lines up at the shit pipe is beyond me. We have a plumber coming over soon to change out the tank hws to instant so he can deal with it.

Made a cushion to lengthen the bed in the ol' caravan. I made a pine frame to support the mattress so now I can sleep easy when on holiday.

Last two weekends I've started a new shed build project. So far all walls are made and installed. Roof trusses are all made but I've run outta puff so I'll attend to them next available opportunity. Scored all the timber for.free through work, it's all second hand hardwood, no nails was just fixed to battens with screws so minor screw holes. Seems too good to use for a shed by if it's for free, it's for me!

The plan is to make some covered area in attempt to fit all the tools in it, then remove the current smaller shed.20220220_152424.jpg20220220_152438.jpg
