Growls you woulda loved it mate. It was insane!
Yep Danny's a good man. I did a fair bit is winch rope running late Friday night trying to help another bloke and got pretty handy on my shovel a few times. Danny never hesitates though. That last hole I could not open the door. Danny got out the window a few times over the weekend Lol. I got out the drivers window once but that's a bit h with the steering wheel in the way!!
Was a great trip.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Good onya MR for giving it a go.
It's well known that mud and I aren't good friends, and it doesn't 'float my boat'. lol

Actually I blew off most of the mud on the panels but parked it up as I got home ver very late. The mud is drying under earth and is Falling off the underside in the backyard as we speak. I will get stuck into it over the weekend.
Roofy the radiator is coming out mate to give it a good clean. Might even get it cleaned out internally too. The engine was running a little hot so time to do that anyway. Replace the thermostat over the break too and my viscous fan is not coming on so will service that while its stripped.
I reckon the GQ will take a month or two to get over this trip. I have the Amadas are lined up to go on and thinking of fitting GU diff awhile I'm at it.
Needs a little lovin now I think.

That is insane stuff.. I might need bigger gear...!
What size pulley blocks and straps were used. And what size was the shackle which exploded?
I'm with Jas, looks like fun, but dam it would have been frustrating...
