A lot of automotive alternators need an initial 1500 rpm or there about to start charging properly.

    Door replacement today.

Any tips. Never had to remove doors or guards before. Best to leave hinges on the car and swap doors or unbolt hinges from body?

Replaced my drivers door hinge 2 weeks ago. Had to remove the guard which was easy enough but the rest a bit of a PITA. best done with a mate or helper. if just doing the doors the door hinge is easy to get to and the jobs a breeze.

Seem to remember @GQTD42 Rob mate kindly posting up a neat trick using a large step ladder and ratchet straps holding his door up for him on his lonesome.

    Job done.
Only needed a extra pair of hands to plug it up to get the window down.

Next is to sort out the suspension.

Currently it's got 2" flexi coils with 4" stocks. As per pics. Happy with these as it sits legal and has great flex.

Now I can't find anyone that does a flexi in 2". Found 3" flexi, but then I'll need to change to suit a 3" lift. Will it need drop boxes and adjustable panards what else?

Why are you looking for new springs if you are happy with yours?

We sold an old work faithful DX leafy including my selfish beloved built tray/podder system from good old hard yakka times needed then
Dropped our pants some $5k ‘as is’ dealt but off to a very good home with most of the $$ goodies still attached for a proud Dad’s arrival and young sons easy rebirth if properly listening

Pretty sure that the front left hand has collapsed.. I've got about 30-40mm difference which is why I've got this horrible lean.

Finished greasing up slide pins just before as kindly suggested by @mudski .
1 in 5 brake pedal presses creates a clunk up front.
Fingers crossed this resolves it .
