Yep, got a 6 and a 10-stop. Only the circular type though, so if I join them together I get the vignette blues like this...

Although, when trying to be arty farty, it can come in handy.
Between Patrols ATM. Had a beaut GU with 6.5 Chev TD. Next is a GU ute with a 4.5 litre Cummins conversion and a camper on the back.

Another example of the vignette factor. One day I might invest in the square type clamp on whatever they are called system to avoid this. Mind you, with a little cropping, they can make for an interesting shot. Not that this one was a good photo at all, but it was 162 seconds exposure, F16, ISO 200 (as low as my little Olympus will go).

Yep, have the same problem when stacking circular filters at 18mm or smaller focal length. Using a Cokin filter system now to avoid that (not that I use them much).

They are a bit pricey, but very good quality compared to a cheaper set I first bought. Have full & graduated filters in 2, 4 & 8 stop which can be stacked. Graduated come in handy for balancing a bright sky against the foreground in landscapes.

Like the streaky sky shot, adds a bit of drama to a landscape, will have to get out & do some one day. That "little Olympus" takes a nice photo from the ones I`ve seen on here!

It's a pocket power-house camera really. Has nearly all of the features of a big dslr, without the weight. A few noise related challenges due to the small sensor, but overall I like it.

Here are a couple I took last night under the near full moon. Location was Grassy Knoll - Cooktown, and where I finally camped at 2am at Archer Point.

Archer Point at about 1am I guess, under moonlight.

    Dawn at Archer point.

Frosty, I've got the EM-5 Mark II. It's an interchangeable lens type and I have three different lenses and a couple of filters. I decided I wanted to learn a bit more about the dark arts of the Manual modes so this was my first foray into 'a better camera' than my trusty 12MP Canon compact that I've used for years.

Another from this morning at Archer Point, near Cooktown.

I took these shots a while ago and I think I posted one on here from Chillago at the time. Finally got around to stacking 40 of them into a subtle star trails type of shot but kept the Milky Way visible. In hindsight, I should have taken an exposure earlier for the foreground so it was more visible. Next time...

Not sure if I like the effect or not. Looks like it is raining stars.

Having a play around with Tilt-Shift or Miniature Effect. Luckily my camera has a built in filter for this. Proper lenses for this can cost quite a bit. Photos need to be taken from above for it to work properly but this one turned out ok.
