I had to nip up the top radiator support bracket nut and i bloody snapped the stud off! No probs, ill drill it out and put a riv nut in it's place. I bloody pulled the insert tool too tight didnt i and stripped in inside thread of the riv nut. Going well! Time for another glass of wine.

Trying to get a new 'family' car. The GQ is the offroader and I have a small runaround I daily as I do 800km's a week, her (really my car but she drives it) car is up for replacement. Think me and the missus can agree on something? Farkin narp. Frustrating thing is, I'm made out to be the bad guy because I reject a lot of the cars she likes - but she's deciding based on color, cost and looks, with no research into safety ratings, common faults, blah blah blah.

Are you buying new or 2nd hand?
Last year we bought a low km, top of the range 2008 Toyota Aurion in immaculate condition for around 12k. It is an awesome car and I hope it lasts us a long time.

Three Laws of Thermodynamics as per Dr Karl:
1) you can never win;
2) you will always lose;
3) you can never break even.
...maybe they apply to more than just energy and heat transfer calculations???

Second handy mate. She wants an SUV, there aren't any I'm big fans of. I don't mind ve wagons, or 09 passat type thing, she's not a fan of either lol.
Tried to talk her into a GU but she wouldn't have a bar of it haha
