The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

I would chew my own arm off before I put a Kings Logo on The62. I would punch myself in the face and then headbutt the ground... lol. Might have grabbed a couple of LED flexible strip lights with dimmers though. No Kings tag for the win.

To be honest I did think it was a bit strange seeing a pic of you there. Thought you would have bought a Kings Hi lift atleast! Haha!

OK shit got Real Again!!!! These things! Seriously. Everything is PULL LIKE FARK and pop the clips. Everything is clipped in.

I have a Factory Nissan trailer plug loom to fit and while I'm there will fit the KO Gear rear locker override switch making the rear factory Locker closer to an E Locker in function.

I will do a separate thread for the plug and play loom install too.

In this photo you xan see that factory Sub Woofer. Much smaller than I expected. This is the location that guys are fitting a double ARB compressor in the Ti option.

The factory loom had a plug waiting for thr loom to plug into which is very bloody handy.

The Loom though was EXACTLY the right length.... another 150mm would have been nice damn it! It wasn't Free!

It has a new grommet incorporated so pull and and put through. Winner.

So here is the internal Trim panel I had to pull out!

The factory Sound deadening is pretty cool. Like wrapping it in a quilt!

So while it's off the KO Kit goes in too.

Selectable switch hidden behind the rear vent. It's a set and forget but if you had to turn it off then a screw driver through the vent to flick it off.

And this is how I packed up last night..

Here are a couple of shots of the clips used to hold the panels on. They are identical to the clips holding on the door trims on a GQ...

Then the instructions again. The pieces MUST be put back together IN ORDER. Take note. I fitted, removed, refitted, removed, item 4 3 times....lol.

Read the bloody instructions damn it!

And why not have the switch in easy reach of the driver, Darren?
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

I haven't really played with the 4wd Selectables yet but from what I understand they change the torque delivery. There is some better info in the manual that I have not really studied yet.

So this override switch is linked into the factory loom. It changes the function of the switch in the centre console area to select the diff lock. The switch at the rear is purely to switch between the factory Loom and the override loom. For the most part I will never need to turn it off again. If ever I do I can.

The difflock switch now functions on the same basic principle as an E Locker. On/Off.
