So, AB's rad held out in the heat? Watched the news tonight and there was a huge heat sink right thru that central Vic to SA region.

Hot!!! Damn Hot. Was 38 for most of the day. Dropped to 27 when we rolled into Cape Jaffa.

    Long hot day.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Yeah fun day yesterday. Big mix of track types. Deep soft sand where you really had to be on the ball driving and on the loud pedal constantly, to hard packed beach runs and the dune drives. Loved it...

No still shite. But I’m living with it as it’s not going to stuff my holiday. Mind you, a few others were running hot too. The deep sand really put a lot of stress on the motor. Coolant is not returning back into the rad too. Hoping it’s just the cap. I have borrowed AB’s spare new one to see. Hopefully it’s just that.

Brings back memories from our last trip there. If you haven't been there, put it on your bucket list!
My advice is: not to follow my advice.
