Happy the cause of the internet outage wasn't something to do with the NBN directly but sad for the poor farmer who hit the main line to Albury with his excavator , I believe the repairs are not cheap .

They'll be suckling his soul very slowly for the rest of his life ...

It's never fun when we replace the power poles and when augering the new hole you see colourful spaghetti pop up out of the ground ...

You can never get fast help from Hellstra anywhere .
But it's amazing when that happens, how fast 17 Telstra vans show up !

Up in the Territory about 50% of my cable outages were caused by Greek Termites...
They are bloody insatiable especially for optical fibre
No-one ever found a way to protect the cables from 'em

    Whats a Greek Termite?
A swarthy mediterranean bloke with a hanky knotted in 4 corners jammed on his head, wearing a blue singlet and driving a backhoe

Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

Proud parents today, littlest one chose to march through town tall on her steed down to ANZAC Avenue, dismounted to join her school choir at the RSL then honoured all our Diggers with laying her clubs wreath at our local memorial.
    Lest we forget.
