Hi all
G'day.
Quick introduction:
I'm about to buy a GU3 3ltr of a family friend. They have had it since new, always serviced, no 4x4, towed a caravan for 1 trip from Melbourne to Darwin then to Cairns where they sold the caravan. Car only has 130,000km hence why I have been annoying him for years to be 1st in line to buy it.
Will be doing the NADS for peace of mind then will do a conversion at some stage, probably a Turbo Barra! 
I had a 2000 Patrol that gave up the ghost back in 2008. Was lucky to get a few $$$ back, selling it to someone wanting to do a conversion.
In 2009 I bought a new Hilux and set it up to tour and 4x4 which has taken the family and myself around Tassie, WA and the Cape. I live in East Gippsland so it knows the High Country well. Hoping to keep the Lux as well but I reckon the Financial Manager will have other thoughts.
