Where can I source a clip like this?

This clip is in the throttle arm of the Standyne Injector pump. It holds the end of the accelerator cable from falling off. Is it a fuel injection repairer type of fitting or is there a kit or store that might sell these? I have a couple from Brunswick Diesel, however its the sort of thing that can stop you if it comes loose, or like it did for me, decide to ping off under the hood and took a good hour to find.Clip 1.jpgClip 2.jpg

Maybe not the clearest context photo but it is the retainer on the end of the throttle linkage arm on the injector pump. I think there is a better one in my build, will have a look

If possible, drill a small hole in the arm and modify a washer and cotter pin. Gotta be safer than that clip.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

Post #62 of my build, found this photo of a dirty old unloved draft horse, but looks like it may have a different clip holding the accelerator cable adapter onto the shaft.

I might do that Craig, more direct, but knowing me I will screw it up and it will become a 3K repair!

When it's installed cover it with silicone. It should never come off then unless you want it to.
