always liked the look of goodyear duratracs.
if you havn't seen 'em, look at the kuhmo mt71 mud tyres, they're pretty chunky.
bfg muds have a bad name atm, ones made in thailand only getting 15000-20000 kms.
everything so bloody expensive.
some coopers going for $500+
nittos, unknown 5 years ago, $400+ now
dunno???????????????????????????
Probably a bit late to the party here but imo there are 3 to look at.
Maxis 811's are brillant. Grippy, quiet and last.
Bfg at3 are a solid tyre. Bit harder compound so last a long time but some report a bit slippery.
Fallen wildpeak at3, very new design from the older at2's.
Reported quieter with better block design and good life span.
I will probably go the Maxis 811's when the factory tyres are done.

Lasted about 700m till we faced a long bog hole, not deep, but very soft. Was pretty impressed overall and the wife and the car both popped there 4wd cherries

I wanna plot out a easy day of tracks so she can drive the day..

Much betterer happening here than out on the NSW backroads somewhere, I blame Tasmanian sludge for its first 1,000km run in, not ME

Our ugly slate tiles have been lifting recently, I believe due to the missus letting the kids ride their bikes inside. Took a gamble and decided to start lifting the slate and unearthed these awesome floorboards hidden underneath. Why you would ever cover up them is beyond me, and I can't see any obvious reason in the subfloor that would suggest they were covered due to any damage.20230604_155815.jpg20230604_155828.jpg

The 747
Gamble paid off mate, that's awesome!
We have really soft pine floorboards in our new house, and the fella we bought the house off was an invalid, he used a walking frame to get around the house so there are wheel tracks all the way throughout. We will either have to sand them down a fair bit or lay something over the top, but that is all going to happen at a much later date!
