    Did it have much crud under the battery ???
    Did you get the same brand as a replacement.??
    Do you grease the terminals? Never know whether to cover the post before fitting the clamp and then cover the lot or not do it at all.

    You'll find new batteries have a protective coating that needs to be removed,
    I usually squirt a small bit of terminal spray when finished, weather proofs the lot.
    Even Lanotec will work,,,,, great product IMO LOL
    04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

    I've just had a 120 ah dual purpose one shat itself only 4 months old..
    It just started self draining and in the end nothing would bring it up in charge..
    Got it replaced and so far it seems good..

    New battery is in WOW hit the key and nearly threw the motor
    out of the engine bay
