@katwoman. Take the new steering damper off and check if it is actually working. I had to get a refund for two that were totally stuffed out of the box, just recently. Ended up with a Munroe, but had to use a generic rubber steering boot as there were none in stock anywhere.

Jeepers muddy you are talking brand new dampers? That's a total disgrace. Would be interested to hear what brands because I may be in the market for a new one soon.
