GQ Patrol RH/LH front inner guard rubber splashguard template

Does anyone have a template of these rubber sheets , preferably on say a known scale like an A4 sheet they could share? I need to replace mine however the units will be too short for the 25mm body lift. I could buy one from PAP for $60 but it will be wasted in the main, plus we have a very large rubber shop on site and they are idle, so I could easily get a couple made in 2 -3mm rubber.

Like this, but for a GQ, not the plastic one up the top.

or there are these ones out of hdpe

Maybe another request is for someone to stick a few A4 sheets together, remove one of the splash sheets from their guard and trace out the shape for me, then post a number of shots so I can replicate om site? Please!!!

I will make a template of these for rubber sheet duplication into the future for others.

Apologies mate, Been slack. 100% just cut your own. They are actually very simple. I have never had a template and just cut as required. When you buy the rubber from Clarke Rubber make sure you chose a lamenated rubber with ain internal clothe fabric as it will hold together much better. Really easy to cut but the fabric will stop crack runs.

No Nutserts needed either. I assume you have bought at least 1 set of clips etc for pushing into holes. Just use a variety of those. dont over think it. Its a splash guard.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Thanks Daz, yes have a couple of these with assortment, in all honesty they are a bit of a junk bin with quality poor and also they dont fit like the factory ones. Anyway i have adopted the nutsert after the hassles with the VASS engineer wanting everything non standard nertsert'd or crush tubed, so the operation is quick and permanent and easily removeable without damage. The new ones are expensive for what they are, but better than a non compliance at the inspection and it also hids some hose and pipes.

I have gone with these as not a single response to the template.

Yeah the attractant was they are configured for standard, 25 or 50mm body lift. I am running 25 for the s/c snout clearance and don't want to highlight this to the engineer. I liked the nutsert idea as well because it fell in line with his demands.

Hi PB. I´ve been working too much lately and have just been able now to log in to check what's going on with the good old folks here.

Mines are toasted and ripped but I won't dedicate that much effort to it. My plan is to buy a say 1mm or 2mm rubber mat and cut it to shape "in place". Doesn't seem like a big deal really.
