    BYO smuggle supplies on the overnighter Spirit mate! We didn't smuggle grub but some grog somehow ended up in our cabin last time

    So we've had everything approved and signed off by our council for the extension. Paid the fee they wanted and we though all was good. Well. The officer involved has left, our job passed onto another person. This person does not agree with everyone, wants a few changes and has passed on another invoice for us to pay once the changes are made! WTF! I'm happy to do the changed but pay again? Carnts!!!

    39 degrees and the train system in this state sh!ts itself. Trains running late or being cancelled altogether because they have enacted their "Extreme Heat" policy of slowing speeds down to snail-fart pace. Are we fair dinkum or what?? There were faster trains travelling the prairies of Arizona 150 years ago! 39 degrees isn't even remotely extreme heat. Bring in a Jap CEO to shake these clowns up and get them running FFS.

    I agree! Surely out comes down to management?
    Check out this info from Wikipedia;
    Japanese railways are among the most punctual in the world. The average delay on the Tokaido Shinkansen in fiscal 2018 was 0.7 minutes. When trains are delayed for five minutes, the conductor makes an announcement apologizing for the delay and the railway company may provide a "delay certificate"

    0.7 minutes average delay for the whole year!!

    Best way to beat road traffic and travel on their bigger neighbours turf too @320kmph only achieved top end there so far.

    Unfortunately they do suppress disasters that did occur from under engineering in earlier days trying to keep up with Japanese Jones’s.
