Spent all day re-organising the layout of stuff in the rear of the Patrol.
We have a tent that weighs at least 30Kg, we used to throw it up onto the roof rack, literally. That is getting harder each 6 months, so changes needed to be made.
We used to carry a 45 litre water bladder. Not any more, that's been ditched. I re-org'd the back of the Trol and now we'll carry 2 x 20L jerries. I can now throw the tent on the floor behind the front seats, this is where the bladder used to live.
We now carry 70L of water (in 5 seperate containers) instead of close to 80 when we had the bladder.
Photos ...
Below you can see where the 2 x 20L jerries are going to live. You cabn just see the bottom of the rear jerry, it's military green.

There's the bum of that rear green jerry and the rear 10L jerry ...

That's been a good buy that Invertor. Around $300, bought when the inverter I had died. It's been used heaps on two trips and just keeps on a going ..

And, finanally, Q: how can you pick a touring truck?? A: Dunny rolls turn up in the strangest places ...

Glad to have this all sorted out. Managed to solve considerable space issues, without spending a single dollar.

Oh yep, just like mine. Hope the turbo lag doesn't cause you too much grief. I found if I double de-clutched it helped alot.

Legendary
Wifey had a mini shopping spree on market place. She did good. One exercise bike, 2 sun lounges for pool, wall mountable billiard rack (new), home gym used a hand full of times and a 32" TV for the eldest to have in his room. About 150km and $20 of gas. Now to finish one of her drinks and go to bed. That's the bit that makes me happy.Tomorrow after work is going to be fun. At least the gym can wait as he's at schoolies ATM.
