Back to work tomorrow after being off since the 21st of December. Well, I went back to work for three days on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th. But those days were easy.

*Pretty much home since the 27th for three days.
*Drove to Cape Jaffa S.A on the 27th, had a absolute blast! Drove home on the 1st.
*Drove to Merimbula N.S.W on the 5th
*Drove back down to Trafalger Vic to say my last good bye to Ol'mate.
    *Drove back to Merimbula.
*Came back home to Eltham Vic on the 18th.
Dome a crap load of k's. In that time away, I wore shoes on four separate times. Driving to Cape Jaffa, Driving home from Cape Jaffa. The Three days at work (we'll call that one). Driving to Merimbula and then seeing ol'mate. I've mostly been bare foot, or thongs if the ground was too hot to walk on. Lol.
Its gonna be strange putting shoes on tomorrow morning.

That is fantastic mate. Great work by your firies or forestries. Are they out of danger yet?

We've had rain over most of the affected areas in the last two days and it's looking heaps better. I think the roads are still closed in Zeehan area though.
It's gonna take a while to get on top of everything up the lakes and in the south west. 10695696-16x9-700x394.jpeg

Although I don't know you and your family personally, I feel like I do. You are amazing people, with incredible strength.
You are the first person I 'know' that has gone through this situation.
My heart cries out to you all to remain strong. My prayers have been sent out and will not come back void.
Enjoy your well earned and deserved fishing trip and beer up Bearii. God bless you all. Take care out there.

One of the hardest posts to respond to but I offer my thoughts for your situation TD.
I will have a Jacks as well. That is something we can all do in spite of our geographic diversity.
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?
