Cool cool. I've been tail end charly in convoys with smaller engined vehicles (diesel and petty) and some tight technical sections that have appeared difficult have been a cakewalk idling in L1 in the 4.2. Bloody love the low end torque. No mod is worth sacrificing this capability imo.
What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Awsome work, yeah thought about getting up but was too cosy in bed. Heard the beast fire up about 10 ish. Choose a good night for you Queenslanders to work just looked at the weather got to about the coldest at round 10 (2 degrees in coldstream) then warmed up a few degrees in the night!
Sounds like pretty good results, can't wait to go for a drive in this thing see how it goes.
