Hopping in 1st at low speeds
It went away when I first put in my Dawse & Needle valves. But when rolling along above idle in 1st, while holding the accelerator peddle constant, the Patrol hops, you get that action that happens when you let the clutch out quick without enough revs, it goes away once you increase speed.
I thought that was caused by the computer giving dickie info out to the whatever it is that makes the car hop and that is remedied when you put in a Dawse valve. Do I need to adjust something?
That generous guy @bigguwesty who helped me with my Dawse install told me I may have to stretch the Dawse spring after 6 months. Could it be just that?
Thanks for any help.

Patrol God
what condition is your IC, check all vacuum hoses for cracks it may be leaking.
If IC is oily its leaking, they all do. You may need to install a needle valve
Is your EGR blocked. Year and motor would help a bit
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

Stretching the dawes spring is not needed. That only applies to dawes valves about 4 years and older. There was a design change back then to correct this.
