Guys,
I bought a factory clock from the wreckers to install in my vehicle. Whats the process to get the lower dash apart to gain access behind the facia?
Geez it's been that long since I last removed mine and I've done it about a half dozen times or more I'd have to take a look at mine again but from memory two screws at the top and two at the bottom .cant remember if there was one to get after removing ash tray .
If no one answers Phil I'll look at mine in the morning .
Thanks Guys, will have a crack at it later this week after work. I am sure to make a meal of it and it take 3 nights to get the thing back together. I also am hoping the plug is there waiting to connect to. I have not had a look yet but hope these screws have hex heads - dont like my chances of getting a crab claw and screwdriver into the ash tray area! What about the single screws on each side, passenger and drivers - do they need to come out as well?
OK, 4 screws in the vents, one screw on l/h side of ashtray and one to rear of ashtray - looks like its accessed via removing the rear demister switch - any more, sound about right?

Rear demister is up near the lhs stalk?
Pull the ash tray out and the screw is behind that.
The screws are all Philips head, use a magnetic screwdriver
OK, thanks guys, all done. Getting the screws back into the rear of the clock was a pain due to the cable loom being in the way, but a few choice words and it was done. Was hoping it would actually be 'on' all the time so you could see the time at a glance, but needs the ignition source - not going to stuff with it now, simply get used to it.
@PeeBee I have a triple gauge binnicle on top of my dash brought a 12v clock didnt like it
