town and everyone is using his skip to dump their rubbish. He came home
with a knife and scuba regulator, no idea why they would throw it out
Anyway Im hoping Apollofish or any other diver can give some input on it,all its says is Posiedon

Hi Jase I know you're lurking in the back ground,
anyway I logged into a mob in the States called IMA-USA
and if you remember your Bayonet that had a bit of age about it.
Well I think I have some info on it, Could it possibly be a Gurkha east
india Co. Brown Bess Musket socket bayonet.
Its very similar to your one, price was $395 US.
Trust things are going well after the OP,

    Wassup TD,

Still floating around, doing pretty well after the Op.

Last few days a bit rough with a pinched muscle in my back but start hydro Thursday.

Been very low key and basically haven't touched any LW recently except for Burke's sheath.

From memory with what I've found is that it's a Brown Bess musket from the late 1890's but an NZ issue.

The old man bought it back from NZ from a dealer, will look for markings again as they're pretty faint last time I checked.

Did get given another bayonet last month that I've not begun to research yet but dad thinks it's possibly Belgian.

I did scoop up a Colt last month as well as there's been a few articles recently that they're moving away from knives
