For some reason I went to unlock the door with the key (even though it wasn't locked) and instead locked it. Heard the central work and thought mmmm tried the door and it wouldn't open (coz I locked it thinking I was unlocking an already unlocked door) panic quickly set in thinking here we freekin go again. Tried the key again central locking noises (this time unlocking) tried the door and wahlah it worked tried it manually and yeeha all good inside n out happy days

Well done Growler, You'll have to take one of those relaxing drinking & bug eating holidays soon to recover from all that mental anguish.

In less than 6 weeks Cuppa I'll be eating bugs!
I don't know why the thing started working. I was driving over lots of speed humps and through paddocks so maybe something bumped it into place, even though I had been giving it gentle taps trying to sort it

Now The Drivers Door Wont Open!!!

Ok I have a theory why the lock didn't move when I had it out of the vehicle. Today I noticed I can't lock the door with the internal "button/lever" while the door is open. Stops you from locking your keys in the car I spose. The door can only be locked internally when it's closed or with the key from outside if that makes sense. Doesn't explain why it wouldn't move when it was shut yesterday or over the weekend whenever I played with it

What about when you lift the door handle, then depress the lever?

Yep, that's how they are designed to work.
