The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

[QUOTE=Rossco;733108]Yeah still not the one I remember, cheers anyway craig. Had a bit of a dig might have more of a look later. . .

Anyways finished painting chassis with brush, looks pretty smick.

A bit better cleaned out, should save a bit of weight. Put in some 15mm coil spacers all round too, so with the reduced body lift should be similar to what it was.

That just looks sexy as ..... unfortunately, it won't take long till it will never look this good again I reckon ....

Yeah i know it's smick as.

Yeah roller's a good idea actually I'll definatly keep it in mind next time i paint the chassis. might make it a monthly routine. . .

Just Karchered it, wire brushed bad bits and used prep wash with a rag everywhere i could get to. Just used motospray chassis black from super dodgey . . . Should see the rear diff too OMG it's to die for . . Just need to do the front one, plan was to put in the diff brace while the body was off but ran out of time, that's next on the list. .

Ping Jing, seems pretty good, is cheaper than dynamat and a bit thicker i think. Pulled the factory stuff out of the firewall if the old one, is a little ratty in bits but think it's salvageable. . .

Hahaha monthly painting of the chassis 😝 , I'm about to strip my 'BIG' truck seats & floor out & line it all with dynamat but I'd heard of PingJing & now I've seen you've used it I might give it a go .

Finished the front diff yesterday, was a bit of a mission doing everything lying down upside down!

Laminated & braced using race bred kit, good stuff as always from them.

Also comes with gussets for the steering knuckles. Hope I didn't get to much heat into the axle seals and it starts leaking. Find out I guess. . .

Starting to look a little bit more like a car slowly . . .
