I selected "find out more" just now, but even navigating through there I couldn't find a "leave me alone arseholes" option.

    Any hints please?

Thanks mate, looks like it. I'll have to watch it later though as the last couple of days the mice on my internet speed wheel have been sleeping. Absolutely bloody pathetic.

Here's the link to Microsoft's instructions on how to uninstall the two components to remove teams.
I just did this on Thursday. It's more persistent than a virus.

BTW, I didn't have 'teams machine-wide installer' in my application list to uninstall, so I ran this PowerShell script that removed the files that were installing teams on every reboot.

Did you hear that in their latest updates, Microsoft broke the start menu and search functionality. Seriously.

    Guys,
I have a compact PC running WIN10. I have three (3) two TB solid state portable hard drives plugged in to USB ports. I use these for saving all files, only the OS is on the in-built hard drive. If find this a safe guard & portable option for saving everything should the PC or internal drive crash. Recently the PC, when started, instead of going to the desktop, now opens the menu on all the "plugged in" hard drives. This is happening 9 out of 10 times.

Any ideas why, and how to stop this happening? I think it may have started after the most recent auto OS upgrade.

Do you mean it goes into the menu of the hardrives in windows? As in.. into the file manager screen? If so it's a windows thing. Remembers your most clicked on or opened screens and automatically opens it for you. You can turn it off.

Fyi you can install internal hardrives which is basically the same as having external ones except you'll usually benefit from a faster transfer rate. You can still just take them out and put them in the next computer should your os hdd die.

It opens all three HD's. Example : one drive is only photos. It open all folders and shows all pics in view mode. Same with the files on the other two drives. This means I need to close all three drives to get back to the desktop screen.

As for installing them, they all won't fit in my compact PC and it also negates their option of quick & easy portability.
