Patrol Freak
Going under knife next Tuesday. Have many jobs yet to do. Cleaned space in the shed (yesterday morn) to start change out of rotors and pads. Thought I would get started in the arvo after doing pre-admission surgery appointment at Hospital, but all was so slow, took 5.5 hrs with travel. And then they tell me no lifting 6-8 wks after op, nooo good that.
Having a coffee then brakes are the go.

I am he, fear me
Bastard Telstra... Hate, Hate, Spew, Upchuck, Mongrel, Turds...
Every time you turn around to stop 'em screwing you in the rrse another thing of theirs runs up and bends you over the desk
Maybe there is something behind the philosophy of Kill 'em all, let God decide

Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

I have just spent 40 minutes on the phone to them as I wanted to temperarly add extra mobile data while I am away and they kept telling me I needed to sign up for a new contract. Ended up asking to speak to someone else and got what I wanted.

Exact same thing happened to me ! Except I walked into their store. Told the bloke I wanted to increase my data prior to being charged their "over-the-limit" fee.
He was adamant that, what I wanted was not possible unless I upgraded to a higher plan...
While he was speaking to his manager I googled and found the add-on data packs my self and shoved it in his face... All they want to do is to sign/re-sign you up for their bonus. I suppose it's inbred into their work descriptions DNA.
I don't mind Telstras prices and I love their network. But dealing with them when things go sour, can really be a frustrating task.

I tried doing it online yesterday and got a message today saying I couldn't add data online because of the plan I am on.

Just had 4 days off which i dedicated to use to service the gu as well as finish the aux battery install and other work needed on the car .
But ... The lingering cold / virus or whatever I've got , ramped up on Thursday and I've been as crook as the government.
So much for that plan.

Well. The heater core is definitely leaking. Went for a drive today to Bayswater and now there’s coolant on the mat. Dunno how but I drove the car to work and back one day after my first suspicions and it did not leak one bit. Now I can see it and smell it so now the fun begins. Not!

Second battery died in the Patrol with 1 week left on my trip, need powered sites for the next week.
Also have a horrible noise on low revs that I suspect may be the belt tensioner, have a spare but really don't feel like crawling under to change it and having dirt falling into my face while doing it. Tried to get into a mechanic in Katherine but they are booked out for over a week.
