She’s in high school this year? Wow! Last time l saw her she was knee high to a grasshopper. But two years of lockdowns will do this…

Hopefully this is the last stage in redoing the front.

3.5 metres of soil, 6 kgs of lawn seeds and some sort of Japanese maple tree thingie in the middle.

The seeds are overkill for the area, but I want full grass, that and a small bag of grass runners should do the job.

Best thing was as soon as I finished watering I was putting things away and the sun popped out..

    Bigger better wood shed v2.0

I've run out of roof sheets I had laying around so I'll just need to keep an eye out for some shitty second handers.

I need to dress up the front a little but it will serve its purpose.20220109_150916.jpg

Making the most of isolation, I machined up some timber today as per the missus request. She's asked for a desk/storage solution for the kids play area. This is as far as I got today. I cannot believe how nice the timber is. The top is a karri slab, and the legs are Redgum.

It's going to be the fanciest kids desk lol

Coming along, however my thicknesser blades need replacing so I can't make the shelves. For now it will just be a bench with legs until I'm out of isolation.

I still can't believe the karri colour compared to Redgum. They are so different and vibrant.
