Bloody plane. Been stuck on site for 3 weeks, heading home, now the shuttle jet has shit itself, going to miss the flights from townsville to bris Melb. No idea if its going to be tonight or tomorrow now, in the hands of someone else. No doubt the tickets costs will be different, so further out of pocket, PIA.

CouriersPlease make me angry.
In November I ordered several items from Sparesbox, I’ve dealt with them previously and never had a issue. They advised 10 days for delivery but I was expecting a bit of an extra delay with delivery due to the time of year.
Got notified that the order was ready and collected by CouriersPlease with a Tracking number.
Advised that it was being delivered 2/12, no delivery but tracking changed to 5/12. Again no delivery but tracking showed issue with delivery, ‘offboarded back to facility’. Nothing further, after a week I finally spoke to a person who advised the package was leaking and they threw it in the bin.
I asked for proof and they sent a picture of a leaking concentrated coolant bottle.
Asked what happened to the rest of the order and got no response.
16/12 I find one bottle of coolant on the verandah and Tracking shows as delivered.
Now I’m trying to track down 10l of oil, another 5l of coolant, fuel filter, oil filter and air filter.
Feel a bit better after venting BUT will feel a lot better if I had what I paid for.
During this time I purchased and received several other items form eBay and Amazon and had no issues with couriers.
Cheers

Put a claim in with Sparebox. Not their fault but they sent the parts using this courier so its on them to fix the issue.

And that is why I try and shop locally. With cash! Yes! Actual money! If the item is faulty replacement, is easy. Downside is it cost just that little bit more, but it keeps jobs in the town.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

I seriously cannot remember the last time I actually touched that stuff. Haha! I don't even carry a wallet anymore. Everything is on my phone.

Local electrical wholesaler now only takes electronic payments. Oooh a cashless society. Wasn't that predicted by some well known book, which also predicts nasty consequences in the long term?
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

Looks like it, just received this email from the courier.
“ Hi Jack,
Good day.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
There were 4 items under this consignment. Two of those which is CPB6QHZ0235232001 & CPB6QHZ0235232002 have been returned to the sender due to the incurred damage. While CPB6QHZ0235232004 has been disposed with the same reason that the goods were damaged.
We suggest to coordinate with the sender.
We do apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.”
The courier has a 1.5 star rating from over 9500 reviews, you have to rate 1 star minimum on ProductReview. My review actually got some action.

I try to shop locally Craig, but in this case and previously the price is more like 50% less.
I’ll give you an example, had to purchase a new garage door opener sprocket kit. I had all the details, not available anywhere in Ballarat. I was advised it required a complete new motor. Found one on Amazon $31.50 free delivery but had to come from OS and expected arrival 19/1.
Ended up getting the exact same from Wodonga $109 delivered. Took all of three days from order to delivery, different courier luckily.
I avoid the local Nissan dealer like the plague and use PatrolaPart for genuine or order from OS, buying local would be nice but not the price.
Cheers

Same here. Local anytime as I can, but 50% difference is indecent.

Phone thieves have already been invented there? LOL.
Here it is a HUGE compromise between convenience and risk of having everything on your phone. Unfortunatelly.

Haha my phone rarely leaves my pocket so theft is not a concern to me.
