Was up in QLD in 2019. Stopped in Gympie for lunch and checked the local estate agent's window as you do walking to the cafe/fish n chip/bakery and was amazed by the property prices. Holy farrrrr I should buy something up around here! Drool, drool. Got home and did some research before realising half that joint is under water once every 10 years. This info should be offered up in the Section 30 or whatever they're called in each state.

Got the Colarado bogged again in the same swamp I got stuck in a couple of weeks ago at site, went down like a stone. Ended up alternating between traction control and not. Managed to work its way out, bloody amazing to be honest, sometimes modern electronic traction controls really do work, but next time I am giving this swamp a very wide berth.

Consistency is what I am about, making the same mistakes again and again when presented with the same problem. It was me.Dead Stuck.jpg

Lucky you had those Mudslipper tyre covers on Phil. You could have been really up the sh!t without them.

Absolutely, started at about 80 thru to 110 when it was almost bucking off the road. Spent 30 mins in the washbay, twice to get the extra balance weights off all 4 wheels, drive very smoothly now!

Had a contractor team lined up for a month to execute a critical portion of work within an integrated plan and they pulled the pin 2 days before the start date - didn't even call, I rang to check they were set to arrive and it was a simple 'nah mate, got something else on, can't make, how about next month'. Just where and what system allows this behaviour to evolve and become 'good business practice'? Now scrambling to find someone else with 48 hrs out from a 1 month task, racing the start of the wet season. Its 43 degC today, started at 5% RH at 6am, now 3% and slightly windy, absolute killer conditions - knocked the crew off at 2pm, simply too hard and dangerous.
