    AGM batteries for sale

    No connection just passing on info. If I needed replacements I reckon I'd give these a crack at $200 each.Fullriver DC120's - about as good as you can get in an AGM. Treated right they should have at least 7 or 8 years left in them.

    I installed one of these in my original Patrol in 2014. The guy who bought it off me still owns it and still runs this battery as his Aux. 6 years later, living under a bonnet pretty much running his fridge 24/7 since then and the battery is still fine.
    Great units!
    Freaking cost me a bit back then.

    I'd say it's luck of the draw. The one I mentioned above still perfectly fine..
    But another one in my current patrol cooked 2 years ago ... The corner of the battery closest to turbo went all discoloured and began giving me all sorts of grief and volt problems.
    So now my aux battery sits at the back of the patrol.

    I had two DC90 Fullrivers & a DC150 Fullriver in our old bus. The chap I sold the bus to was still using them 2 years after he bought the bus. That made them 12 years old. Not in the engine compartment though.

    So many other AGM's on the market these days which claim to be higher capacity than what they are. If ever thinking of buying a bargain priced battery - check the weight & compare against the equivalent sized Fullriver. If it weighs less it's not the advertised capacity. EG the Kings 115Ah weighs 30kg which makes it only around a 105AH which is fine if that's what you want - but it is deceptive. You don't get more AH without more lead!
