    No ir had HBMC Hydraulic Body Motion Control that is basically a Hydraulic sway bar system. The rear springs drop out but the front doesn't have the same range of motion and needs thebsystem to be depressurised to allow the front springs to be removed safely and then depressurised on completion.

    The front also needs new Upper Control arms to increase front axle load rating adding 180kgs to the front for the bar and winch
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    I noticed yesterday that one of my HID driving lights has died. I pulled out the receipt for when I bought them in 2012. I installed them when the car was a week old. 12 years is not too bad. So I took the opportunity and bought a pair of these:

    Hopefully they will be as awesome as my HID's.

    Gotta love good old reliability CC Mate

    Decided to cheer myself up today on the way home from an ongoing Dyno tune debacle, I need to stop modifying trusty OEM trucks

    This 35 YO basic replacement made me happy

    Forgot to get a box of Red Heads though

    Bought a new 9hp engine for the Mobilco workhorse. The old Kohler 6 1/4 hp crank has slapped the con rod in half again (repaired 20 yrs back).
    Should do the job.

    Bought a 200W solar blanket with 20A MPPT controller for $199 at Aldi today.

    I’m a total amateur with solar power but I’m hoping this is adequate to keep a caravan battery topped up.

    What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??

    Whatever you do, dont leave the blanket draped over your car guard or bonnet. They can generate enough heat to damage the paint beyond repair, seen this a few time. The mob that are selling a system that mounts directly onto a bonnet use an insulating layer, not that i think thats a brilliant location for a device that loses efficiency above 25 DegC face temperature.
