If the water is above the outlet level and the hose clamps are tight it can only be a hole in the hose or a hole in the diaphragm of the pump or a torn diaphragm I think? PIA issues, i feel for you.

So, the stupid design of this tank means that there are 2 outlets one at each end. What I tried to do is connect the 2 into one.

While full it works good, 20lts later once the water is in its 2 separate compartments it coughs and splatters.

Now I think I will run 2 separate lines, one at each end.

While tank is full has good pressure

I was going to suggest you simply flip it upside down, but then I saw the filler.

I'd just leave some wiggle room and when the outlet side got low, I'd just lift it up and drain from the full side to the empty side, that's what I did with my bladder.

Or just top the thing up, never a bad idea to circulate your water.

    KISS.

Haven't had much time this weekend, but squeezed in enough to finally get this water tank sorted. Once it was all level it pumps out about 35 litres and with a couple wedges in the right places I should be able to get the last few litres if needed.

Good outcome, however I think you would achieve the same flow just letting the water run out the hose. Anyway its installed and working

John, I assume the tank has a breather in the cap? If not it will suck in and stock flowing with either a pump or gravity. A small hole , say 3- 5mm dia would be fine, you could screw in a pneumatic airline fitting and add a small length of airline to raise the air point and also stop any nuisance splashing out of the take breather.

If the tank was sitting higher I wouldn't have gone with the pump, but we're only getting older so the convenience is nice to have.

Yeah it did, but it's pretty shit. I'm going to replace it with a diff breather, something like the last pic..
