    GU driver seat available

    Part of a shed clearout.

If anyone wants this driver seat/frame & can collect it from near Ballarat you are welcome to it. Otherwise it is going to the tip.

Was never in our car. Bad back. Was going to get this one reupholstered with extra lumbar support. At least that was the idea at the time but never got round to it. We hit the road before that. Looked at getting Stratos suspension seatslater when in FNQ, but instead of paying $7k for two seats (wife wanted one too) ended up getting a mesh back rest from a physiotherapist for $90, which with a bit of pool noodle along it’s bottom to raise it a tad worked very well & enabled me to keep driving the Patrol for several more years. The seats in the OKA are far more comfortable for us, with good lumbar support & a much more upright sitting position. So this seat, bought from a wreckers is no longer of any use to me.

I seem to have jumped the gun on this seat. I forgot that it came out of a ute. I do use my pockets behind the driver's seat, this one doesn't have one.

I'll hang onto it until my next trip run, but if someone else can put it to use it's yours..
