We have a 2006 Ex Telstra TD42i which I converted to a remote area tourer about 9 years ago. We have been travelling with it full time for the past 5+ years & it's seen a fair bit of Australia. Originally set up as solo tourer with a rooftop tent, but that was fairly short lived, with a towed bedroom (Tvan) added.
Ask questions by all means , but be aware that I favour practicality over flashy appearance.

I prefer practicality over flashy too. It will still work even if not pretty.
