Damb, 10 years since this happened.
Some of you that have been around for a while may remember, but its been 10 years (21/01/2012) since my GU had a little sleep on Moreton, its a event that changed my life forever, and has continued to change my life in so many ways, even to this day, 10 years on.

I self recovered the car ,and drove it off the island, video here....
I spent years rebuilding the same car, and in Feb 2015, i took it back to the exact same spot on the beach (the same track actually never re-opened again)

Be nice to get some pics of the Y62 in the same spot this year, (to close the chapter), but ill see what happens

Yep remember it well. Meeting you at the barge with Scotty and Bec to escort the crumpled and rattly old girl back to his place.
In the words of a Dhuck "QUACK".

Funny you say that, as the music was not my first choice, but the You Tube/Google compliance stick got waved at me for copyright infringement, BTW this was my first choice i had uploaded on the video (if your interested)........

Yeh, the whole story of events was quite unbelievable, but im proud to say i got it back on its wheels by myself, never give up on it, the Patrol will still get you home as it always has, even if it just needs a little help ;-)

Yeh , whats the chances of that, the Tow Truck organized to come pick the car up once i got to the mainland, itself has a crash on its way over, and we can't get another Tow Truck, so i had to drive the Patrol even further all busted up.
